When the closest exit to our “incident” advertised food and fuel (and we were hopeful for air), they in fact had none for humans. However, what they did have were llamas, sheep, and donkeys with a vending machine for you to feed them. We found this immensely helpful given our situation! And finally in Twin Falls, the bold claim of “tire installation” really just meant they would loan us a floor jack and and some room in their parking lot.

Four new tires later, changed in the rain in Twin Falls, Idaho in what the national weather service called a “500 year weather event”, we were on our way.

It only gets better from here.
